Dan was born and raised on the south side of South Bend. He loved growing up in the Michiana area, baling hay, working summers at Kroger, playing basketball and softball, and going to Notre Dame games. In college he earned a degree in social studies education and then went on to live and work in our nation’s capital, where he observed the legislative process first-hand and became familiar with many of the crucial issues facing our nation.  After moving back to Indiana, Dan began working as a consultant while making preparations to attend law school in the future.  Dan is a member of Community Baptist Church, where he serves in the choir and in children’s ministry.
