Dan Herbster Becomes Board Member for Local Charter School

Dan Herbster voted in as board member for a new charter school in South Bend. Wants greater school choice for South Bend and Northern Indiana.
On January 22, 2009 Dan Herbster was voted in as a new board member of Indiana Schools of Excellence which will oversea the new charter school in South Bend, Xavier School of Excellence. Dan issues the following statement:
"I am very excited about the opportunity to help bring greater educational opportunities to my community. Xavier Schools of Excellence has enormous potential to increase educational opportunities for the children of our community and is a step toward the education reform we so desperately need. I am proud to serve as a board member for Indiana Schools of Excellence."
